WINTER HAIR COLOR OBSESSED

Done with winter already? While you have a bit longer to go until those spring flowers start blooming, you can still enjoy the trending winter hair colors that are heating up the colder months and into the spring season. At Special FX Salon, our stylists are always combing the fashion sites for trending hair colors and coloring techniques to make your hair look amazing.

Caramel Glaze. This brunette hair color-glazed in caramel highlights is the perfect combination of two shades of brown to enhance the layers in your hair with added depth and dimension.

Sombre Babylights. Starting with a medium brown base and adding two shades of highlights, becoming lighter at the bottom, will not only bring cheer to those cold wintery days, but it’ll also look forward to a bright, cheery spring.

Black with Cacao Bean Highlights. Black is a favorite for winter hair color but the solid hue is often too gloomy or too dark for your complexion. Using a black base and then incorporating cacao bean brown highlights gives you the best of both worlds with rich brown highlights blended with black.

Deep Burgundy Ombre. Here’s another favorite for black hair. Plum highlights infused into black, almost blue-black hair, is quite a chic & striking look for the season.

Cinnamon Spice. This chestnut brown base accented with lighter cinnamon-hued highlights is the perfect mix of brown with subtle red. Our Special FX hair colorist will blend the lighter color in subtle brushstrokes for an effortless, natural look. This color looks great with both straight hair or intertwined with wavy curls.

Chocolate Red Wine. Natural brunettes can liven up their chocolate base by blending in deep red wine highlights. Customize this warm color combination with soft highlights, babylights to frame the face or bolder red highlights throughout the hair.

Pumpkin Spice Blonde. The perfect blend of blonde with a variety of red tones in shades of rose-gold, copper, and strawberry blonde quickly has become a favorite shade this season. These multi-dimensional shades work well together to bring together a look reminiscent of winter for those pumpkin spice lovers.

Icy Blonde. While blondes tend to love platinum in the summer, the favorite this winter is a cool icy shade. Whether you’re sticking to soft highlights to frame your face, or adding icy blonde highlights to your darker base for a dramatic look, this is a great shade to show off your blonde in the winter.

Silvery Ash Balayage. This is the perfect way to add depth and dimension to your light brown or natural blonde base. Adding silvery ash blonde highlights will give you a shimmering cool look that’ll reflect stunningly in the sun.

Deep Magenta. If you’ve loved the pink trends of 2021, move into the magenta realm of 20022. This new mix with shades of pink, purple, and red promises to show off your hair this season.
